| | It sure seems like a long time since we have reported from Columbia Street. Here are some recent incidents:
Hm. Why is Miss Jo Ann pressing into service all able- and not-so-able-bodied (OK, just warm-bodied) individuals within earshot? Seems she hasn't got enough stuff
and has purchased what must be the heaviest entertainment center in the
parish. You can't even see Abnah, three J yoots, and Joe on the far
side of the crowd:
Thankfully, no one herniated.
Whoa.
The preacher, mentioned in a previous Kravitz report about a leaf war
between Eddy & ex-neighbor Stephanie, seems to be pulling up
stakes. We wonder what happened to his Spirit Life International
storefront edifice, but it never was on Columbia St., so we can't bring
you the very latest. However, this is the scene at his [ex?] house:
Good riddance to his yappy, yappy dog.
Speaking
of dogs, the Kravitzes were recently awakened in the night by a rap rap
rapping ...one of Shreveport's finest at their front door!
It seems that the Kravitz hound has been chasing "children" up the street at 1:00 a.m. and has been a fugitive from justice!
Further
research by the Kravitzes reveals that there was a "suspicious person
or prowler" reported on our block! The back gate was open! Perhaps
the ever-vigilant and noble Kravitz hound has foiled yet another sordid
crime!!
Good dog. You've earned your rest.
You may be asking yourself a couple of questions:
1)
What are "children" doing on the street at 1:00 a.m.? (We frankly like
the image of the goofy chicken dawg chasing a buncha juvenile
delinquent unsupervised kids, while the kids in question think she may
be a vicious attack dog.)
2) Why was the beloved family pet left out in the cold night air (OK, it was a pleasant spring night)?
~Well,
the Kravitzes have wondered the same thing, but it can't keep us up at
night because we must remain rested and fresh in order to keep bringing
you...
